RR CUP ANNOUNCED`

TVS Apache RR Cup announced selection on May 12

After the success of Gixxer Cup the TVS has launched their RR Cup with their new varient featuring the standard RR 310 is a 312.2cc, single-cylinder, DOHC motor that makes 34hp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of torque at 7,700rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and suspension duties are carried out by a 41mm KYB USD fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. HoweverTVS will tune the motorcycle specifically for the race track.The bike to have a performance exhaust, and possibly some mild engine modifications and suspension tweaks. However, this race bike is yet to be seen. 

More importantly to make it eventful and exclusive they have made norms for the racers and the process of eligibility and registration are being circulated, which are mentioned below:

• The participant should either be a National Championship rider with a podium finish or a One Make rider with a podium finish.
• Additionally, a refundable deposit of Rs 5,000 has to be paid in advance.
• This amount will be used to cover damages to the bike during the selection round, if any.
• After the selection process, 12 of the riders who set the fastest lap times will be selected for the Cup.
• These selected riders will then pay an entry fee of Rs 17,500 for five rounds (depending on the organiser).
• These individuals will also be required to make a commit to participation for five rounds and pay Rs 25,000 in advance for the repair and maintenance of their motorcycles.
