New Design and Features
The Yamaha Aerox Alpha has been dramatically redesigned with a sporty and aggressive look. At the front, dual LED projector headlights with an integrated turn signal ensure visibility and a more modern design. The new LED taillight and indicators in the rear are part of its premium finish.
This upgraded scooter is available in four variants and seven eye-catching colors. In addition to these, it also features the likes of a TFT speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation that has three display modes, along with traction control as part of its features list. There are two riding modes, T Mode and S Mode, and three acceleration modes: Low, Medium, High, and an Emergency Stop Signal that flashes all indicators during sudden braking to make it safer.
Performance and Technology
The Aerox Alpha has the same 155cc engine with a high output of 15.4hp and slightly increased torque at 8,000rpm to 14.2Nm. But it is the YECVT transmission from Yamaha that adds a big difference to this new variant. This advanced technology system, first debuted on the NMAX Turbo, will enable riders to shift between two riding modes and to manage acceleration using the Y-Shift button.
