Mobil Hosts India's First Night Street Race In Chennai
The world automotive lubricant leader, Mobil, marked India's first night street race in Chennai on August 31 and September 1. As a part of Indian Racing Festival 2024, it transformed the city's Formula Racing Circuit into an extraordinary playground for speed, technology, and performance. It also coincided with Mobil's third anniversary of its partnership with RPPL (Racing Promotions Private Limited).
Mobil’s contribution to Indian Motorsport
Mobil had a major contribution towards the emergence of motorsport in India. It was the lubricating partner during the Indian Racing League (IRL) and the Formula 4 (F4) Championship. For the third successive year, Mobil extended its message of high performance through 'Performance by Mobil 1' as the official lubricant partner. After five decades of presence in India, Mobil continues to support racers with better products that help them unleash their true potential.
