Apparently, 17-year-old Sarthak Chavan has earned his leader position in the Pro-Stock 301-400cc category as he finished nine out of ten races for the season. He sealed the championship title on Saturday by crushing all his opponents in Race 1 and continued his win on Sunday by bagging third in Race 2. His triumphs this season made him the second rider, after the legendary 11-time national champion Rajini Krishnan, to bag two titles in one single season, with he also winning the first-ever TVS RTE Electric series.

This time, he did it with a bang, for Jagan Kumar crowned his racing career with a well-deserved national title in the Pro-Stock 165cc category. Kumar, who has been racing since 2009, said it was wonderful to sign off on a winning note with a championship win. The Chennai-based youngster won the last race of the season, wrapping with five points ahead of rival KY Ahamed.

Abdul Basim RS took the championship in Novice Stock 165cc with the final round. He had a good opening to the final round by winning Race 1, however, he crashed big-time in Race 2. Tasmai Cariappa, who was beneficiary of Abdul's crash, won Race 2 and thereby automatically reached the finish in second place.
