THE RED BULL SHOWRUN WILL BE HOSTED BY BANDRA BANDSTAND MUMBAI

Red Bull India and Oracle Red Bull Racing are gearing up to entertain F1 fans with the Red Bull Showrun here in Mumbai, alongside racing veteran and 13-time F1 grand prix winner David Coulthard. On Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 10 a.m., David Coulthard will drive the iconic Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 car, the RB7, on the picturesque roadways of Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai.

Red Bull Racing is the only team to have won every Indian Grand Prix during its three-year tenure at the Buddh International Circuit. This isn't the first time they'll be taking their showrun to India; Coulthard drove the car at the Hyderabad Showrun in 2015. Aras Gibieza, a Red Bull athlete and Lithuanian freestyle stunt biker, will be performing his dangerous act in between the Red Bull Showrun, along with a slew of other acts. The Super Car Club's Super Car Showcase is one of them.

David Coulthard stated of his return to Mumbai and driving the F1 car on Indian soil, "Namaste India! I am really excited to be returning to your great city. My previous trip to Bombay was a while ago, but it feels like I never left. F1 has developed a sizable fan base in India. I am confident that when I drive those glittering streets at Bandstand, I will see a significant shift in the audience. 

David returns to the maximum city that never sleeps after 14 long years after mesmerizing the crowd in the first-ever Showrun at Bandra Worli Sea Link in 2009. The Red Bull Showrun tries to bring the Formula 1 fan closer to the car. The Mumbai Showrun follows Oracle Red Bull Racing's golden year, which saw Max Verstappen dominate the F1 scene with the most points of any driver in F1 ever. Given F1's expanding global appeal and Red Bull Racing's recent success, this Showrun is an ideal opportunity to give the Indian public a taste of thrilling F1 action.
