Tata Altroz CNG becomes the first Hatchback to get a Sunroof

Expected Features of Tata Altroz CNG

Tata Motors presently sells 15 different Altroz models. According to a dealer source, six variations may be supplied with CNG, with three of them - the XM+ (S), XZ+ (S), and XZ+ O (S) - receiving a sunroof. 

Digital driver's display, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, an engine start/stop button, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver's seat, leatherette upholstery, a front centre armrest, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and stability control.

Boot space of Tata Altroz CNG 

One CNG tank has been divided into two smaller tanks and is placed beneath the floor. It has allowed the boot to retain good utilization of space, which rivals do not provide. However, due to the tank's positioning, no spare tyre is provided; a puncture repair kit and an air pump are provided. 

Performance & Mileage

The Altroz has got a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. 86hp and 113Nm of torque is produced when running on petrol and 77hp and 97Nm on natural gas. We expect fuel efficiency of Altorz similar to Tiago and Tigor (26.49km/kg).  

Price & Delivery 

Orders for the Tata Motors Altroz CNG began last month at Rs21,000 and deliveries began in May 2023. It costs more than its petrol-powered version at Rs.90,000.
