Honda India Creates Record in Asia Road Racing Championship

Honda Racing India delivered a superb performance. That ended up being another day of picking up important points. At the end of Round 1 of the 2023 ARRC in Thailand, the Indian team is ranked eighth overall.

The Idemitsu Honda India Racing Team has an excellent start to the Asia Road Racing Championship. The Indian squad managed to earn some significant points in the season opener at Buriram thanks to a fresh rider lineup that included Kavin Quintal and MohsinParamban.

Quintal and Paramban scored points in Round 1 of ARRC

Quintal and Paramban were allowed to compete in the AP 250cc class of the ARRC after making an impression at the Thailand Talent Cup the previous year.

Quintal gained one point after moving from 17th to 15th in the opening race. He moved up to 13th place by lap 8 of the following race. He subsequently passed fellow countryman ChihiroIshi to take 12th place on the track. He was elevated to P11 after the driver's disqualification in front of him. Quintal gathered a total of six points in the first round as a result.

Paramban advanced two positions from his grid position of 21st to place 19th in the opening race. He earned three points for finishing in 13th place in the subsequent race.

Honda India has a total of nine points at the end of the first round. The Indian team performed well and end up with 8^th position.

Thailand Talent Cup Round 1

Indian teenager riders RaheeshKhatri and ShyamSundar made their international racing debuts in the Thailand Talent Cup (TTC). Unfortunately, due to shoulder injury, Sundar didn't participate in this round. Khatri managed to score 10 points on his debut.
