Chiranth and Sarthak Dominate the Pro-Stock Categories

Bengalurur’s Chiranth Vishwanath and Pune’s Sarthak Chavan won the race in the two premier Pro-Stock category as the third round of MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2024 - Powered by STORM. It concluded at the Madras International Circuit here on Sunday.

Chiranth gave his best performance in the Pro-Stock 301-400cc race. Initially left behind at the sixth place, he had a sensational win in the last lap, leaving behind Rajni Krishnan and Alwin Sundar. Sarthak, starting from pole, came eighth in the first lap and then rejoined there. The loss ended Sarthak’s streak of five wins but he continues to lead the championship table. Chiranth leaped to second spot.

Pro-stock 165cc

Although having an injury from the Pro-Stoick 301-400cc race, Vishwanath overtook KY Ahamed and Jagan kumar to win in the Pro-Stock 165c category.

Girls Stock 165cc

Ryhana Bee, former national champion, picked up her first win this season after Race 1 was shortened to three laps due to an on-track incident. She was followed by Rakshita Dave and Jagathishree Kumaresan.

Novice Stock 301-400cc

Savion Sabu won Race 1 on track, but was handed a 10-second penalty for a jump start and dropped to P3 as a result. This promoted Raj Kumar to first place. Sabu did return to take a commanding victory in Race 2, though.

TVS One-Make Championship

Manoj Yesuadiyan won the Race 1 by a few seconds after beating Raj Kumar C. Senthilkumar C.

 CS Kedarnath was left behind by Harshith V Bogar to have his first win in the Rookie class. Saimah Ajaz Baig won the Girls race, while Praveen Kumar won the Media race.
