2023 Formula 1 Show Car of Alfa Romeo goes up for Sale

The auction of Alfa Romeo's 2023 Formula One show car was just announced. The auction, scheduled for March 2023, is expected to be one of the year's most anticipated events for motor sports fans and collectors.

It is the first of a planned series of 2023 Alfa Romeo show cars, built by UK-based sports memorabilia firm Memento Exclusives, and is likely to fetch more than £400,000 at auction.

Striking new livery

The 2017 Alfa Romeo has a dramatic new livery, with a red and black color scheme replacing the white and red combo used in previous ads.

This year's car, the Alfa Romeo C43, debuted in a stunning new black and red livery, contrasting with the team's traditional white and red color scheme.

With its sleek, aerodynamic shape and high-performance engineering, the 2023 Formula 1 show car is beautiful. It has the latest power unit and technology from the firm, including enhanced aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and unique suspension systems.

It's not the first time an Alfa Romeo concept car has been put up for Sale. F1 Authentics started selling current-season display vehicles last year, with the Alfa Romeo C42.

"Our launch concept was to bring fans closer to the team, and auctioning this show car fits within that narrative," stated Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Sauber Group Managing Director, and Alfa Romeo Team Representative.

Alfa Romeo will enter the 2023 season with the same driver lineup of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu, looking to improve their P6 place in the constructors' standings last year.

The car is a one-of-a-kind artifact, and the successful bidder will own a piece of motor sports history. It was manufactured by Memento Exclusives and is the first of a planned series of Alfa Romeo exhibition cars for 2023.

The current bid is GBP 80,000, but predictions suggest it will rise to around GBP 400,000. (approx.Rs.4 crores). According to the sale page, the show car was developed for show car purposes rather than competition.
