On November 30, Tesla is set to unveil the long-awaited production-ready model of its Cybertruck to the public. The journey began in July of this year, as series production kicked off at the Texas Gigafactory. Offering a sneak peek into the full production glory, Tesla is gearing up to showcase the culmination of its innovation. Get ready for the next level of automotive excellence.
Tesla's Cybertruck boasts a versatile lineup with three powertrain options, providing users with a range of choices to suit their preferences and needs. Across all variants, a standard 1,360kg payload capacity ensures that this electric powerhouse is ready for heavy-duty tasks. Notably, Tesla is eyeing expansion into the Indian market, with plans potentially materializing as early as 2026 for local manufacturing.
Tesla Cybertruck Interior
The Cybertruck by Tesla sticks to its simple design style, with a big 17-inch touchscreen in the front. Some pictures got leaked, showing the truck in white and grey colors, which might be standard. It has the usual square-shaped steering wheel that Tesla is known for, but it doesn't have the unique "Yoke" design.
Looking at the touchscreen, you can see lots of buttons for controlling different things in the Cybertruck. You can manage the bed cover, change how the suspension works, adjust how the steering feels, and set up the side mirrors. The screen also lets you easily control things like child lock, headlights, car wash mode, and more.
Just like other Teslas, the Cybertruck keeps the "Frunk" tradition. This means there's extra storage space in the front because there's no regular engine inside.
Tesla Cybertruck Powertrain
Tesla's Cybertruck is made from super tough "ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel." It's so strong that it can even resist 9mm bullet attacks. The truck comes with three different ways it can be powered, using one, two, or three electric motors.
The basic version has one motor and moves the truck using the rear wheels. It can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.5 seconds, travel about 402 kilometers on a single charge, and can tow up to 3,400 kilograms. No matter which version you choose, the truck can carry up to 1,360 kilograms of stuff.
The middle option has two motors, making it a bit faster. It can reach 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds and also goes about 402 kilometers before needing a charge.
The top-tier Cybertruck, with three motors, is super impressive. It can travel a really long distance – about 804 kilometers – on one charge and can tow a whopping 6,350 kilograms..
Tesla India Plans
Recent updates indicate that Tesla might officially debut in the Indian market next year. Although the initial vehicles sold in India will be fully imported, there are discussions about Tesla commencing local production by 2026. Reports suggest that the Indian government and Tesla are nearing an agreement that not only permits the U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer to sell imported models but also paves the way for establishing a manufacturing facility in India.
