Ultraviolette's F99 sets a new benchmark for Indian motorcycles with this amazing milestone at Valley Run 2024, completed on December 1, 2024, at Aamby Valley in which F99 stood 10.712 seconds over a standing quarter-mile. FMSCI has certified it. Being the fastest Indian motorcycle, such records were not possible. With F99, success is cemented for the might of electric motorcycles but also celebrates India's growing strength in performance engineering.
Breaking records with advanced engineering
The Ultraviolette F99 is a powerhouse of technology. It produces 120 horsepower and 972 Nm of torque at the wheel thanks to its 400V battery architecture and liquid-cooled motor. The bike weighs in at 180 kg, yet accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in under 3 seconds and to 200 kph in less than 10 seconds.
The motorcycle has a carbon fiber exoskeleton and battery casing for extra strength and lightweight. F99 is the result of extensive research and development in aerodynamics, structural engineering, and advanced battery systems. As Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette Niraj Rajmohan put it, this has enabled the company to leap over those barriers and enter a class of performance that rivals its global peers.
From the Track to the Road: The F77 Mach 2 Connection
The Ultraviolette F99 is more than a record-breaker. It's also changing the face of electric motorcycles. Learnings from the F99 development went into creating the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, a road bike for the daily rider. Critical technologies like regenerative braking and fast-charging capabilities first emerged on the F77.

Ahead of it, Ultraviolet wants to set a new top speed record for an Indian motorcycle at NATRAX, and it aims to remain the leader of performance electric motorcycles in India.
It is indeed a proud moment for India because the Ultraviolette F99 took the top honors at Valley Run 2024. As Co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam explains, India can manufacture world-class high-performance vehicles. Ultraviolette, in focus, innovation, and cutting-edge technology, is rewriting the history of what Indian motorcycles are capable of and thus writing a future where electric bikes dominate both the track and the road.
