At the commencement of the competition, Sanjay's teammate, Callum Davies, impressively secured pole position in the #13 Racelab Artura and clinched victory in the initial Sprint Race. Davies continued to lead during the first stint of the Feature Race, eventually passing the car's reins to Sanjay. Making his GT car racing debut, the Indian racer expertly maintained the lead and triumphantly crossed the finish line.

Sanjay impressively secured pole position, surpassing teammate Davies' previous pole time. He then showcased his dominance by claiming a lights-to-flag victory in the second Sprint Race, building an impressive lead of over 30 seconds. However, in the final Feature Race, both Sanjay and Davies had to settle for second place due to traffic-related challenges. Nonetheless, their consistent podium finishes throughout the weekend highlighted their strong performance.

Participating in the UK for the first time in a GT4 car has truly been a thrilling adventure," Sanjay expressed. "I was eager to delve deeper into the capabilities of the car, especially considering our limited track time in preparation for the race weekend."

Jon Lancaster, Sanjay's driving instructor, said "He adapted remarkably well, after just five laps around Donington, I was ecstatic. Sanjay has displayed a high level of professionalism, and his feedback on the car has been impressive. He consistently set the pace throughout the entire weekend, marking a highly promising beginning."
