Even though it has the same motor as the Multistrada, the Diavel's motor has a slightly different state of tune and produces 168 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque, which is 2 horsepower and 1 pound-feet more than the adventure bike. Still, this represents a 9-horsepower improvement over the 1,262cc L-twin engine from the older Diavel 1260. The cylinder deactivation mechanism on this new motor is an intriguing feature because it turns off the back two cylinders as necessary to save fuel and prevent overheating. An automatic gearbox with six speeds and a bi-directional quick-shifter.

The Diavel now weights 236kg despite having four instead of two cylinders and a weight loss of 12kg. The frame, or rather the lack of one, which has helped save 8kg, accounts for a sizable portion of this. Ducati has given the new Diavel V4 an aluminium monocoque construction in place of the steel trellis frame of the previous Diavel. However, the swingarm is still made of single-sided cast aluminium, while the rear subframe is still a steel trellis unit.

A 50mm USD front fork with 120mm of travel and a monoshock with 145mm of travel, both fully adjustable, is responsible for the suspension. With regard to ergonomic comfort, Ducati has also shifted the handlebar 20mm closer to the rider, marking a 15mm increase in travel over the Diavel 1260. The height of the seat is 790mm.

Ducati Diavel V4 features

The Diavel V4 now features a new LED headlight with LED DRLs in the shape of a horseshoe, two-tone alloys with a diamond cut effect, and a tail lamp made up of a number of tiny LEDs under the tail section. These also resemble the horseshoe shape of the front DRLs. The quad exhaust outlets on this motorcycle may have the greatest 'wow' factor.

A 5.0-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, dynamic indicators, cruise control, launch control, a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control are among the features of the 2023 Ducati Diavel V4. Both the Ducati Diavel V4's asking price of Rs 25.91 lakh and its two available colours are Ducati Red and Thrilling Black.
