New design, improved usability and fresh content: The HELLA Special Applications segment presents itself with a new website
The website of HELLA's Special Applications division now features a new, user-friendly and innovative look. "Our main concern with the relaunch was to bundle all content for all customer segments on one site, thus increasing usability for our customers," explains Daniel Staeck, Marketing Manager at SOE. Therefore, from now on there will be one overarching website instead of the previous 13 individual pages. In addition, around 230 products were brought into a uniform presentation format. "A real mammoth task, but well worth it." The new website, which can be found at www.hella.com/soe for example, has a new navigation system. The clear structure makes it easier for visitors to access detailed product information. Pre-filtered content per customer segment invites discovery. Another plus: Customers reach the right contact person more quickly, as contact inquiries via the site land internally directly with the respective customer segment manager.
In addition, the display of the website on mobile devices and the findability in search engines were also improved. For this purpose, redundant content was removed and a separate blog was introduced with exciting topics from the SOE world, product introductions and worth-knowing explanations of technologies and guidelines.

"Within just one year, we mastered the project completely in-house - an enormous success for the entire HELLA team," says Staeck. "Internally in marketing, we created the concept and filled the pages with life. And HELLA IT created and implemented the sitemap and the layout according to the specifications". Existing functions of existing HELLA websites were also used. For example, filter options from HELLA's corporate website were transferred to SOE's product pages. "Overall, we have now created a useful, informative platform for our customers. But we also benefit from the new website. After all, bundling the content also makes the work of colleagues behind the scenes much easier." For example, thanks to central data management, the maintenance effort for the site can be further reduced and content can be kept up to date more easily.
