KY Ahamed and Prabhu Arunagiri indented a double while Rohan Ramesh (Axor Sparks Racing) and LaniZena Fernandez (RACR Castrol Power1) scored triumphs as the fourth round of the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2022 finished up at the Madras International Circuit.

Champion of Race-1, Ahamed, led a 1-2 completion for Petronas TVS Racing Open Category today, on the other hand, Pacer Yamaha, Arunagiri, has a thrilling win in the 165cc Open Class.

Rohan, Axor Sparks Racing, emerged strong from a bunch of riders to take honour in the Stock 165cc Novice race.

From 30 September to 2 October, at the MIC, the fifth and final round of the championship will be held. In the 301-400cc Pro-Stock Open race, Ahamed missed a gear because the lights went out and the two battled until Ahamed defended his position for a splendid triumph.

Rajni Krishnan, defending champion, behind the lead pair crashed in the first lap but got himself to come in third while posting the quickest lap of the race in the process. After round 4 Rajni’s tally took to 161 after a third-place finish, followed by Ahamed and Ravikumar.

In the Pro-Stock 165cc Open category, Arunagiri had to work hard for his second win. As Arunagiri fought off the challenge strongly the eight-lapper went down to the wire and he kept his wit to pull off a win with Sethu and Ahamed close behind him. However, finishing fifth, Mathana kept his lead with a tally of 126, ahead of Arunagiri (104) and Sethu (109).

The race was a thrilling experience with the majority of riders in the mix and fighting for podium spots. Rohan won from SarveshBalappa (Hubli) and VigneshGoud (Hyderabad).

LaniZena started from the pole position and battled with Mumbai’s JagrutiPenkar all through the five laps. Lani regain the lead in the last lap by making a decisive move and finishing for her first win of the season, Jagathrishree (Pacer Yamaha) came in third.

Ann (72) leads Jagruti (63) while defending champ Ryhana Bee (Pacer Yamaha) crashed in the first lap that left her sixth in the championship.

Aditi Krishnan from Bengaluru scored her fourth successive win in the Girls (Apache RTR 200) class while ChiranthVishwanath from Bengaluru scored a double. RaheeshMudassarKhatri from Mumbai recorded a double for 8 wins in the Novice (CBR 150) classification of the Idemitsu Honda India Talent Cup.
