Honda Cars also appoints Rajesh Goel as Senior Vice President and director, Makoto Hyoda as director of Sales and Marketing
Honda Cars India has appointed Gaku Nakanishi as its new president and CEO. Nakanishi replaces Yoichiro Ueno who was the president and the chief executive from April 2016.
Nakanishi was serving as president and CEO of Honda Thailand since 2015. He is associated with the company for nearly 30 years and has headed many international markets including North America, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, CIS, Africa and Middle East during his tenure.
Honda has also appointed two new directors to spearhead sales and marketing. Rajesh Goel has been appointed as senior vice president and director for sales and marketing. Rajesh Goel has been associated with the Honda India for over 22 years. The other director, Makoto Hyoda, who has been in India since April 2017, has now been elevated as director of Sales and Marketing. Hyoda has also been associated with the company since 22 years and he has significant experience in the field of product planning, marketing, sales promotion and customer management.
