Feature Bonanza for HTK+ Trim: Panoramic Sunroof, Drive Modes, and More

Kia India has some great news for the fans of the popular Seltos SUV, especially those who love the ease of usage in an automatic transmission. Now, Kia has launched two new automatic variants, making the automatic gearbox now more accessible in terms of price.

HTK+ Trim Gets an Automatic Gearbox

Earlier, Kia had put automatic transmission options only for the higher-spec HTX trims of the Seltos. Now, an automatic transmission option is available for the mid-spec HTK+ trims for petrol and diesel engines. The current new Seltos has a lower price:

- The new Seltos HTK+ petrol CVT has a starting price Rs. 15.4 lakh (ex-showroom).

- The new Seltos HTK+ diesel-AT has a starting price of Rs. 16.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

There is a reduction of Rs. 1.18 lakh on the petrol CVT and Rs. 1.28 lakh on the diesel-AT compared to previous options.

HTK+ Trim Gets Feature Upgrades

But wait, there is even more for buyers of the HTK+ trim. Kia has also provided a lot of exciting new features for this middle-class variant:

- Panoramic sunroof for ventilation and roominess

- Drive and traction modes for better grip on the road

- Paddle shifters for some sportiness in the drive

- LED connected tail lamps, extending visibility at night and looking more modern

- LED interior lighting for decent cabin light

- A leatherette-wrapped steering wheel for style

- A new color option: Aurora Black Pearl.

Various Updates Across the Trims

Kia, however, did not neglect the other Seltos trims. Find the new features below:

- All HTK trims, right down to the entry-level one, come with an individual operating function on all four windows at the touch of a button. This ensures that control of any of the car's window settings is of utmost ease, thus increasing driver and passenger comfort and improving ease of use.

- The lower-end HTK trim acquires various updates, among which are LED DRLs, which the package provides for better visibility and a sense of trendiness on the exterior of the vehicle. Keyless entry, push-button start/stop, and remote engine start/stop functionality have also been added to further facilitate ease of operation and ensure safety for the driver.

- Another addition is that of LED-connected tail lamps, which offer better visibility by other vehicles on the road and hence improve the safety of the vehicle.

- The base HTE trim comes with a styling upgrade of the five new exterior color options: Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, and Imperial Blue.

Extended Range and Competitive Price

Added to these, Kia has expanded the reach of the Seltos. Prices go from Rs. 10.9 lakh to Rs. 20.35 lakh (ex-showroom) for a range of competitive prices on this feature-rich and stylish mid-size SUV contender. It keeps pace in a competitive environment where several options such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq still reign supreme.
