Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2022 is all set to enter an important phase with the fourth and penultimate round, which is taking place at the Madras International Circuit. The nation’s top riders and bike manufacturers are gathering to give more heart-halting moments. The competition will be at the fiercest.

Veteran Rajini Krishnan, who is in flawless form with five wins is at the 51-point lead in the Stock 301-400cc Open Category as he pursues the 11th National Title. Mathana Kumar (Pacer Yamaha) has 28-point, and SarveshBalappa (Axor Sparks Racing) has 36 points and is ahead by 5 wins. Ann Jennifer (Alpha Racing) is leading by 12 points in the girls' segment (Stock 165cc) with 2 wins in three races.

SarthakChavan, the teenager from Pune, won all 6 races and has dominated the Idemitsu Honda India Talent Cup’s NSF 250R category. RaheeshMudassarKhatri has 6 wins in the CBR class.

RahilPilarisetty (Hyderabad) who has 2 wins and 28 points is leading in the Petronas TVS one-make Championship, open class (Apache RRR 310). ChiranthVishwanath (Bengaluru) is leading by 48 points after winning 6 races in Apache RT 200, Novice Category, while another racer from Bengaluru, Aditi Krishnan has been dominant with three wins in the girls class (Apache RTR 200).

Ajit Thomas, MMSC President, said: “in the session 2022 we have tight finishes in most of the races. We thank the riders for their continued participation and we also acknowledge our sponsors, MRF Tyres, for putting together the championship and letting varied manufacturers of the bike exhibit their items.”

The 600-seater grandstand will be open to spectators to live streaming on various 55-inch LED TV monitors while enjoying refreshments and snacks. A rider or a team with the greatest cheering squad will be presented with a special award.
