During the 2023 Valley Run, Fahim Zahran rode the speedy Suzuki Hayabusa, wowing onlookers with unmatched speed. Meanwhile, Vicky Sawant drove the high-performance BMW M5, earning praise for precision and speed mastery.

The 11th edition of The Valley Run brought together 700 participants and 11,800 spectators at Aamby Valley airstrip for three days of exhilarating drag racing. The speed stars of the event were Fahim Zahran, setting the fastest time on his Suzuki Hayabusa, and Vicky Sawant, clocking the fastest time in his BMW M5.

  • Fastest car: Vicky Sawant in BMW M5 with a time of 9.971 seconds
  • Fastest bike: Fahim Zahran on Suzuki Hayabusa with a time of 9.359 seconds
  • Fastest female rider: Shweta Chithrode on Suzuki Hayabusa with a time of 9.904 seconds.

 

Fastest cars, bikes at The Valley Run 2023

Fahim Zahran rode his own tuned Suzuki Hayabusa, clocking the fastest time at 9.359 seconds. Vicky Sawant drove a BMW M5 tuned by Super Car Club Garage, securing the fastest car title in 9.971 seconds.

Roshan Reddy's car covered the quarter-mile in 11.712 seconds, earning him the title of Fastest Indian Car. Shahrukh Khan, on his tuned Kawasaki Ninja 400, claimed the Fastest Indian Bike title with a time of 11.622 seconds.

Female racers excelled, with Uvashri Kannadasan Balajeyanthi and Shreya Singh leading in the car classes. In the bike classes, Shweta Chithrode and Samantha D'Souza emerged as the fastest female riders.

In addition to the main drag races, the event featured exciting segments like drifting and stunt shows by Bad Boi Drifts and JK Tyre. After three days of intense racing, trophies were awarded, and the event was made possible with the support of partners including AMG Performance, JK Tyre, Monster Energy, Super Select, Castrol Power1, Paytm Insider, Indian Oil XP100, Cloud9, and Inovexic.

Rongom Tagore Mukerji, the director of Elite Octane (organizer of The Valley Run) and promoter of The Elite Cup, described the 11th edition as one of the biggest in the decade-old series. The event had its highs and lows, with racing incidents highlighting the importance of safety precautions for such large-scale events.

Organizing The Valley Run at a remote location is a big challenge, but it's special for the racing community. The participants, sponsors, and the dedicated core team made the event successful.
