Cars Category: Ekstrom Takes the Top Spot

Mattias Ekstrom from the Ford M-Sport team claimed victory in Stage 11 of the cars category with a remarkable performance. Ekstrom finished ahead of Nasser Al-Attiyah from the Dacia Sandraiders team, who trailed by just 41 seconds. Overdrive Racing's Yazid Al Rajhi secured third place, rounding off a competitive podium. Ekstrom's commanding drive added further excitement to an already dramatic Dakar Rally.

Bikes Category: Tosha Schareina Shines

In the bikes category, Tosha Schareina, racing for Monster Energy Honda HRC, stormed to victory with the fastest time on two wheels. His stellar performance saw him edge out Luciano Benavides from the Red Bull KTM Factory team, who secured second place. Adrien Van Beveren, also representing Monster Energy Honda HRC, took third, ensuring his team had two riders on the podium.

Trucks Category: MM Technology Dominates

The trucks category witnessed a dominant display from MM Technology. Martin Macik led the charge, taking first place in Stage 11. His teammate Kees Koolen followed closely in second, while Vaidotas Zala of Skuba Team De Rooy FTP completed the top three. Macik’s win solidified his strong position as the rally heads into its final stage.

Indian Driver Sanjay Takale’s Impressive Run

India’s Sanjay Takale continued to make waves at the 2025 Dakar Rally. The experienced rally driver finished 11th overall in Stage 11 and currently stands at 18th in his class heading into the final leg. Reflecting on his performance, Sanjay said: 

I had hoped to push harder today, but the weather presented unexpected challenges. Even so, I’m satisfied with my performance, including two top 10 finishes and two top 11 rankings over 11 stages. Tomorrow is the last stage, a short one, and I’m eager to finish strong."
