The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is at the top of the list of the most well-liked cars in India. The high-end hatchback sold 20,945 units in India in November 2022. The facelift model's fresh styling and feature set are likely to blame for the sales figures.

Tata Nexon SUV outperformed expectations and outsold hatchbacks to rank second in sales in India with 15,871 units sold. After Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Alto followed with 15,663 units sold in India.

Maruti Suzuki dominated the list of top-selling cars and took two top three spots. Even though it only sold 15,153 units in the Indian market, the Maruti Suzuki Swift is the fourth-best-selling car overall. Maruti Suzuki WagonR, a tallboy hatchback, came right behind Swift to claim fifth place with sales of 14,720 units.

Sedan Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which sold 14,456 units, came in at number six on the list. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV rose to the seventh spot on the list, selling 13,818 units in India.Three SUVs, the Hyundai Creta, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza, respectively, were eighth, ninth, and tenth. Tata Punch sold 6,110 units in India, while Hyundai Creta sold 13,321 units. With sales of 11,324 units in the Indian market, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza kept the lowest spot on the list.
