More affordable KTM 390 Adventure X launched

With an initial cost of Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), KTM has unveiled a new, more economical version of the 390 Adventure. Since it costs less than the existing KTM 390 Adventure, which has a price tag of Rs. 3.38 lakh, it is significantly less expensive. The KTM 390 Adventure X was released with the intention of expanding the market for the motorcycle.

Details of KTM 390 Adventure X

In order to maintain the price at Rs 2.8 lakh, KTM has removed a number of technologies from the 390 Adventure, including traction control, quickshifter, and cornering ABS. KTM has preserved the dual-channel ABS configuration with the option to switch off ABS at the rear wheel to enable riders slide the bike while going off-road.

The 390 Adventure X also includes an LCD display rather as the TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.

With few exceptions, the 390 Adventure X is an exact replica of the present bike and features bodywork, all-LED lighting, an engine, and suspension. There are two colour options: Orange and Dark Galvano.

Competitor of KTM 390 Adventure X

With its starting price now well below Rs 3 lakh, the KTM 390 Adventure offers good value for money for those seeking a powerful (43.5hp/37Nm) adventure. The BMW G 310 GS and the KTM 390 Adventure are also rivals, and the X model gives a Rs 40,000 discount.

However, when compared to the price of the Royal Enfield Himalayan (2.15 lakh), the gap to the KTM 390 Adventure X is only Rs 65,000. Even if there is a big difference, the KTM's engine is more powerful and modern than the RE's, allowing it to cruise more comfortably at highway speeds.
