Kush Maini, a promising young driver from India, will compete for Campos Racing in the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship. He will pilot one of their Dallara F2 2018 vehicles in each of the 14 races that will take place between March and November.
Maini is a young Indian talent who has excelled in the single-seater feeder series in recent seasons. After his brother Arjun Maini, he will be the second member of his family to drive in the F2 Championship. In the previous two seasons, Jehan Daruvala, an Indian, raced for Prema Racing in the F2 Championships.
Campos Racing is excited to announce that Kush Maini will drive a Dallara F2 2018 for the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship. Kush will join the already-announced Ralph Boschung, securing a lineup with an excellent balance of talent from both the old guard and the new "the Tuesday announcement from the Campos Racing squad.
Maini, who was born in Bangalore in September 2000, raced in the Italian F4 Championship in 2016 to make his single-seater racing debut. Maini quickly displayed his skill by winning his first race of the season and placing third. With three victories and 12 podium finishes under his belt, the Indian driver went on to place second in the 2020 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship. He had good results going into the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship season and had also made podium appearances, according to the press release.

Kush joins his older brother Arjun, who raced for Campos Racing in Spain for a few rounds back in 2019, as the second Maini to compete in the FIA Formula 2.
In order to be ready for the 2023 season, Boschung and Maini will both participate in post-season collective testing for FIA Formula 2 in Abu Dhabi from November 23–25.
