Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced a closed course, 'gymkhana riding' event for owners of its products, which would include instruction to assist them in polishing their skills, followed by a time attack part. 'Street Rush' is the sequel to 'Trail Attack,' centred on off-road riding.
'Street Rush' is an urban exploration game that focuses on honing abilities essential for road riding. It's a 'gymkhana' event where owners can test their bikes' boundaries on a closed track in a controlled atmosphere. The first Street Rush event will occur on April 30 at the Chicane Circuit in Hyderabad.
Rustom Patel, a well-known personality in off-road and rally events and training programmes, will instruct the participants. Rustom, who has three international and eight national titles to his name, is the current head coach of Ajmera Racing India and will provide participants with hands-on training. The tournament is available to all Jawa and Yezdi owners, with a Rs 499 registration fee.
This one-day course is intended to teach riders the fundamentals of riding techniques, such as throttle management, motorcycle control, turn-in, cornering, and effective braking. After becoming acquainted with these principles, the riders will be permitted to do timed laps around a closed circuit in order to put their abilities to the test.
