The nation facilitated its last significant global occasion in 2013 as the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida played host to three Formula 1 meeting of the Indian Grand Prix, following which the motorsport needed to drop its Indian endeavour toward the rear of a tax dispute between the Indian coordinators Jaypee Group and the state government.

Formula E Race Venue - Hyderabad

ABB FIA Formula E said that the title, which will highlight 18 races between January and July 2023, will see two new hosts, Hyderabad, India, and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

A Letter of Intent had previously been endorsed by the Telangana government recently as the state pushes to accomplish its aggressive objective of turning into a centre point for electric vehicles (EV) in the country.

The consideration of Hyderabad as hosts of Round 4 of the Formula E '22-23 season has energized the motorsport fan base in India, which has seen a hearty development of late following an outright exhilarating 2021-22 Formula 1 season that had a fairly dubious end in Abu Dhabi.

Co-Founder and Chief Championship Officer, Formula E, Alberto Longo said: "The Season 9 schedule of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is the most far-reaching and dynamic racing schedule yet and I can hardly stand by to begin,"

"We will keep on pushing the global limits of all-electric road racing with the E-Prix in Hyderabad and Sao Paulo, while keeping up with the massively famous races in Diriyah, Mexico City, Monaco, Rome, Berlin, and London with Jakarta and Seoul currently settled on the schedule", he stated.

The Gen3, the world’s most memorable net zero carbon race vehicle, is also set to make a big appearance in the following Formula E season.

Then again, Formula 1 as of late declared that it is fostering a 100 per cent manageable fuel to drive its cutting-edge hybrid cars, which will make a debut in 2016 as the motorsport will accomplish net-zero carbon emission by 2030.
