In the challenging race in the Thai round of ARRC (Asia Road Racing Championship), the Idemitsu Honda Racing India Team scored valuable points, a total of 11 points.
Senthil Kumar and Rajiv Sethu dropped back in the starting stages of the race but levelled up and finally managed to score valuable points in the championship.
Race 1
In the opening lap, Sethu dropped to 17th place after beginning in 14th position. Finally, Sethu crossed the flag in 14th place and scored two championship points.
Just behind Sethu, Kumar finished the race in 15th place, rounding off the final point. Only Indian Team on the grid gain 3 valuable points in the championship in challenging race 1.
Race 2
In the opening lap, Sethu dropped down to 16th but got back place after place to finish the 8-lap race in 11th place and earn 5 points.
Kumar experienced a similar situation in the beginning and dropped to 18th place after he began from 16th on the grid. He replicated his teammate’s resurgence through the grid and made up 5 places. Finally, he crossed the line in 13th place and scored 3 points.
The Idemitsu Honda Racing Team India scored 11 points after tallying the points from both races.
