Pragathi said, “I am ecstatic to qualify for Stage 3. The conditions improved in the afternoon compared to the morning, enabling me to perform well. I am now comfortable with the Cross Car compared to yesterday when I drove it for the first time. I am pleased about the opportunity to participate in the competition.
Other Indians, ArnavPratap Singh, HarkrishnanWadia, VedantJouhari, TarushiVikram, Jeremy Miller and JasmeharJubbal, were knocked out before this. Wadia missed the qualification for Stage 3 as he knocked down a couple of marker cones in the second timed lap, was docked a two-second penalty, and ended up third in the group, just one second behind EshanPieris of Sri Lanka.
Harkrishnan said, “The gear slipped into neutral, and I lost time in the first timed lap. I knocked down a few marker cones, but overall, it was a good experience. “
In Stage 2, the 25 contestants had five groups of 5 teammates. The fastest two in each team advanced to Stage 3. 2 others also joined in and topped Nacon’s WRC 9 game in the Digital Challenge.
Overnight rain made the condition tricky, and the mud was thrown up by early cars that improved later in the day under sunshine, and then drivers clocked faster times.
