The prices of the long-awaited Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200 motorcycles have been disclosed ahead of the country's formal launch. The NS160 is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh, while the NS200 is priced at Rs 1.47 lakh. Prices are all ex-showroom. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and NS160 have received a number of improvements for 2023. The company teased both the street naked motorcycles a while back. These bikes, known as the Dominar 200 and Dominar 160, are already available in Brazil with USD suspension.

The new variants have been unveiled for Indian shoppers at a price increase of Rs 10,000 and Rs 7,000, respectively, above the previous iterations of each model (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from the engines, the two motorcycles are nearly identical, with the same styling, bodywork, and semi-digital technology. To handle its higher output levels, the NS200 has larger tyres.

What is new in Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200?

On the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200, the USD (Upside Down Fork) front fork measures 33mm. Instead of Petal disc brakes with Bybre calipers, the bikes now come with Grimeca calipers and circular discs. The diameter of the front disc has increased from 260mm to 300mm. It is close in size to the NS250 and F250. As standard, it has a dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). The NS160 now weighs 152kg, a slight increase over the previous model. The NS200, on the other hand, has shrunk from 159.5kg to 158kg.

Other features of Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200

Both motorcycles retain their original engines. The NS160 retains its 160.3cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which produces 17bhp and 14.6Nm. Meanwhile, the NS200 is powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 24bhp and 18.7Nm. The new NS160 and NS200 will comply with OBD-2 standards. They now have an OBD sensor that monitors their emissions in real-time.
